Dominic R. Mascara

Dominic Mascara joined SVN CPEX Real Estate as an Associate Director on the Acquisitions team in 2019. Dominic brings more than thirty years of experience in the healthcare/insurance and hospitality industries and is recognized for dynamic and creative leadership in sales, marketing and community relations. He brings extensive experience in ethnic marketing, team building, leadership development and special events.

As Director of Community Relations in the Government Affairs division for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, he was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with elected public officials, faith and community-based organizations, local leaders and other centers of influence to assist VNSNY in meeting its mission. He strategically leveraged relationships to build community presence, recognition and community event opportunities. Prior to VNSNY, he founded the MOSAIC Business Group, LLC, a marketing and community relations firm providing high level consulting services to such companies as Fidelis Care New York, WellCare New York, GHI and other healthcare organizations. Prior to MOSAIC, he was the Chief Marketing Officer of HEALTH PLUS health plan from 1995 to 2003, helping build the organization from 13,000 to more than 235,000 members to become New York City’s number one Medicaid and Child Health Plus Managed Care Plan.

Dominic’s professional background also includes sales and marketing executive positions with Hyatt Hotels International, Forte Hotel Group and Holiday Inn National Sales.

In addition to maintaining strong political, corporate, and community-based relationships, he has in the past served, among others, on the following boards and committees: Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce board member; board member of the Harlem YMCA; member of the Brooklyn Borough President’s Health Care Advisory Committee; and board member of Kingsborough Community College Foundation.

Dominic has been honored, among others, by the following organizations: the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce's Man of the Year Award; NYS Puerto Rican/Hispanic Caucus' SOMOS Public Service Award; Caribbean Images Association's Martin L. King, Jr. Community Service Award; Bronx Chamber of Commerce's Italian American Heritage Award; and the Brooklyn Chinese American Association's Public Health Achievement Award.

An avid public speaker, Dominic has given numerous speeches and presentations on marketing, promotion, and networking.
